Glasses and contact lenses
Optik Liebl in Regenstauf and Optik Schwarz in Regensburg are both ZEISS Vision Experts 2026. Both shops have ZEISS VISUFIT 1000 and i.Profiler Plus technology, specialist contact lens measurement systems and their own workshop.
We offer single-vision and progressive lenses, children's glasses, occupational lenses for screen work and ZEISS DriveSafe lenses. You can also bring your existing frame: we will check whether it is suitable for new lenses.
For suitable frames and available single-vision stock lenses, glazing may be possible within 1–2 hours, depending on workload. We confirm availability and timing individually.
Our contact lens services include daily and monthly lenses, multifocal lenses, rigid lenses and specialist lenses for conditions such as keratoconus. We also offer myopia management spectacle lenses for children.
Magnifiers, reading aids and lamps from SCHWEIZER and Eschenbach can be tried in our shops. Frame brands vary by location; please ask before visiting if you are looking for a particular brand.
Explore glasses — German information ↗Hearing care built around you
We start with your hearing needs, a hearing test and a discussion of your everyday listening situations. You can then try suitable hearing aids, with individual fitting and follow-up support.
We work with all German statutory health insurance funds. Where eligibility is confirmed, hearing aids without a private supplement are available; a statutory co-payment may still apply. We explain the expected costs before you decide.
We offer hearing protection for sleep, music and work, as well as custom swimming earplugs. We mainly work with Hörluchs and hold ICP certification for hearing aid provision in noisy workplaces. Home visits are available by arrangement.
Our online questionnaire helps you prepare for a consultation. It provides an initial guide and does not replace a hearing test or individual fitting.
Eye tests and driving licence tests
Our eye test is free when you buy glasses. Driving licence eye tests are free: you must bring identification and any glasses or contact lenses you need.
We also offer free vision and hearing tests for sailing and boating licences. These tests do not replace any required medical fitness certificate. Bring your forms if available.
An appointment is recommended, but not essential. Walk-in customers may need to wait.
One team, familiar local names
Matthias Liebl graduated in optics and hearing acoustics in 2017 and opened the hearing care shop beside Optik Schwarz in Regensburg that year. In 2020 he took over his father's optics business in Regenstauf and added hearing care. The Regenstauf shop was completely refurbished in 2023.
Optik Schwarz joined the company in 2025. Reinhard Schwarz and the existing team continue to work with us.
